Tremella mesenterica group includes Tremella aurantia

On dead branches, trunks and logs of both native and exotic trees. This striking, golden-yellow jelly forms soft, gelatinous, convoluted masses. The colour ranges from golden yellow when fresh to bright orange as it ages and dries. Spores of Yellow Brain are formed over the entire outer surface of the fruit-body.
