Pseudohydnum gelatinosum – Toothed Jelly

On tree-trunks and fallen rotting wood in wet forests. This tongue-shaped species is very jelly-like and shivers when touched. The rough top is light grey to black. Translucent white, tooth-like projections on the lower surface are soft and watery. The stem, if present, is lateral.
