Entoloma virescens group includes Entoloma hochstetteri

Amongst litter and bryophytes in native forests. The cap, gills and stem of this agaric are a distinctive intense sky-blue. The cap is conical with a small pointed umbo and the stem is shiny with a slight longitudinal twist. With age, gills turn pink-brown, coloured by mature spores.
